Singleton has been serving the All Saints Community as Head of School since 2004. She has 30 years of educational experience in independent, charter and public schools in the U.S. and abroad. She holds an Ed.M. in Literacy and Language from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, a B.A. in English and Journalism from Rutgers University, and holds teaching licenses in elementary education, special education, and as a reading specialist. She has been serving on the board of the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools for six years, and is a member of their Accreditation Committee. Ms. Singleton is an ordained Deacon in the Episcopal Church and is passionate about the connection between personal spirituality and service. Her current ministry involves running The Lighthouse in Jersey City, a home providing temporary refuge to individuals coming out of immigration detention who have received, or are seeking, asylum in the United States. Ms. Singleton has been married to Jack Coggins for 27 years, and together they have two young adult sons.
