Faculty and Staff

Erin Moran has been with All Saints since 2014. Previously, she managed corporate relations and marketing at Dress for Success Worldwide and was the Development Director at the Newark Boys Chorus School. Ms. Moran earned her B.A. in political science from Indiana University and received her Certificate in Fundraising from NYU's Heyman Center for Philanthropy and Fundraising.

This is Banu's first year at All Saints. Originally from Turkey, Banu lived in Uruguay, Cuba, Nicaragua, Peru, and Brazil. Before coming to All Saints, she worked as the Communications Coordinator at American School of Brasilia. She has also worked and chaired various not-for-profit organizations in the past 25 years. Banu holds an M.A. in International Political Economy and Development from Fordham University and a B.A. in International Relations from Bilkent University in Turkey. She enjoys knitting, designing knitwear, and giving cooking lessons on Turkish culinary traditions. 

Ms. Quintero has been part of the All Saints community since 2016. Originally from Cuba, Ms. Quintero holds a B.A. in Spanish from the University Central Martha Abreu/Cuba and has studied at University San Carlos in Guatemala where she specialized in human rights law. Ms. Quintero began her teaching career in Cuba working with students of all ages. After moving to the United States with her husband and children, Ms. Quintero became certified in early childhood education and began working as a Spanish teacher. Her goal as a teacher is to help her students develop a love for learning and a love for the Spanish language and culture. She enjoys reading, going to the movies, trying new foods, and traveling in her free time.

Ms. Ruud-Diaz joined the All Saints community in 2014.  Ms. Ruud-Diaz holds a B.A. in French, Elementary Education, and Secondary Education from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, where she also taught beginner level college courses and was the director of the French House. Her experience in independent school education includes teaching K-4 French at Mounds Park Academy in St. Paul, MN, and Middle School French at Trevor Day School in Manhattan. Prior to that, Ms. Ruud-Diaz spent two years in a small town in Normandy, France, teaching English as a second language to preschool and elementary students. This is where she fell in love with the French language and culture. For the past twelve years, she has also enjoyed teaching Preschool French at Palisades Child Care Center.  Ms. Ruud-Diaz enjoys spending time with her husband and sons, playing violin, dancing, watching soccer, being outdoors, and discovering more about the many French-speaking countries and cultures, as well as creating French lessons and activities that are enjoyable and meaningful for the students at All Saints. 

Ms. Schmidt, a Hoboken resident, was thrilled to join the All Saints community in 2018. She has enjoyed getting to know students and faculty and looks forward to another successful year. She worked in special education for ten years in public and nonpublic schools before coming to All Saints. Ms. Schmidt received her B.S. in Elementary Education from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA.  She enjoys reading, going to the beach, and spending time with family & friends.

Mr. Houwen has worked in various roles at All Saints since 2015. He served as Second Grade Assistant Teacher, Substitute Teacher, and After School Counselor. Prior to All Saints, he worked with youth and young adults at Cross Roads Camp and Retreat Center. Mr. Houwen earned his B.A. in Philosophy and Religion from Elmira College and M.A. from Drew University’s Theological School. His hobbies include: philosophizing, experimenting in the kitchen with wild yeasts and bacteria (i.e., kombucha, and sourdough bread), identifying wild plants, exercising, and outdoor activities like hiking and backpacking.
