I always say that skilled educators are ready for anything - we are creative, adaptable, pragmatic and optimistic. At heart we are adventurers who never tire of exploring new ideas and intentionally seek out new terrain. We love that no two school years are ever alike.
With 33 years of experience working in the field of education, I could never have imagined a year like the one we’re experiencing at present.
On Friday, March 13, I met with parents and teachers to talk about the school’s move to distance learning. Together we stepped into an unknown future, and no one really knew what to expect.
In the weeks and months that have transpired since, I have fallen even more deeply in love with the All Saints community. Our teachers have absolutely blown me away with their innovation and ability to make their curriculum come alive on a virtual platform. And now, during this period of hybrid learning, the learning that is occurring simultaneously on campus and online is truly remarkable. Additionally, our parents are going above and beyond to keep our community safe - both physically and emotionally.
Our mission demands more from us than academic excellence; our mission calls us to develop discipline and determination, tolerance, an unquenchable passion for learning, and a compassionate heart committed to service. As an intentional community, every member plays an important role. Our teachers view their jobs as much more than an occupation - many define it as a vocation or a calling, and report feeling tremendous satisfaction about the work they do each day; our parents partner with teachers to ensure their child’s success; and students arrive each day ready and eager to learn.
I encourage you to spend some time checking out our virtual tour
