All Saints Enrichment Program Mission

We offer an array of extra-curricular activities for a fee during the fall and spring. Our courses typically include 12 weekly afternoon sessions from 3:15PM to 4:15PM, unless otherwise noted in the course description. All AM course offerings run from 11:20AM to 12:05PM. The goal of the All Saints Enrichment Program is to provide unique courses in order for students to sample and expand different areas of interest. Courses are taught by highly qualified individuals and organizations that provide age-appropriate curriculum.

Nursery & Pre-K

Junior Builders w/Lego Bricks - (Monday-AM Only) $262
Did somebody say, “LEGO!” Students will combine learning and fun in this hands-on classes that engage students in building real word objects with building blocks. Students will build a new project each week through guided instruction. Projects are designed to encourage creativity and imagination, while enforcing essential learning in literacy, math and spatial skills.
 
Masters and Me Art w/Abrakadoodle (Tuesday-AM Only) $277
Have you heard of Vincent van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, Jackson Pollock and other famous artists? Learn how these well-known artists became masters! Come paint, draw, sculpt with clay to create art like the masters! Use expressive brushstrokes and colors like van Gogh. Practice paper folding techniques to create houses inspired by Hopper. Explore distortion used by Dalí and more! NEW PROJECTS each class and each session – a colorful world of art awaits!

Super Soccer Stars (Tuesday-AM Only) $350
Get the ball rolling! Super Soccer Stars, the Tri-State area’s most popular soccer development program, comes to All Saints! Dynamic, international coaches work with every student to develop skills,
self-confidence and teamwork in an enjoyable, non-competitive environment. Positive reinforcement ensures that each child will improve his/her soccer skills through engaging warm-ups, drills and games all while having endless fun! Each child receives a free t-shirt on the first day of class.

Fun With Food (Wednesday-AM Only) $415

For Spring 2019, students will continue to explore recipes that will challenge their growing culinary skills. We will take a culinary trip around the world as we explore a much loved dish from each country. Brazil, China, England and Japan are just a few of the countries we will be visiting.  And here in the US, we will also take culinary inspiration from one or two great American icons. Students will also continue to refine different kitchen skills from cutting, measuring, mixing etc. And as always, kitchen safety, cleanliness, table manners, sharing and working as a team are some of the other lessons that are taught throughout the term.

Creative Movement (Wednesday-AM Only) $375
These classes are cognitive and coordination focused inspiring creative movement helping little ones with their motor skills and listening skills as well as guiding them in channeling their energy.  We focus on nurturing concentration, comprehension and memory through storytelling, inspiring children’s imagination. The use of recreational tools such as scarves, balls and hula-hoops are incorporated to increase balance, body awareness and coordination.

Head to Toe (Thursday-AM Only) $262
Head to Toe has provided a quality gymnastic and physical skills program by teaching through the use of structured exercises, games, music and fun for more than a decade. Parents will note the difference this program will have in the development of their children, setting a course for recognizing a center of balance, coordination and maintaining a healthy body weight.

Learn Mandarin! (Thursday-AM Only) $415
Learn Language is designed to teach the target language and culture in a fun, interactive environment by professional, experienced instructors. Our goal is that each class experience will build the child’s confidence in communicating and will help to develop their awareness of foreign cultures. We believe that learning language at a young age increases critical thinking skills and creativity. Students will expand their knowledge via art, culture, music, and fun, interactive activities.  Lessons are developed to promote conversation and comprehension via our evolving thematic curriculum. Each cycle offers a new set of themes that enables children to mix levels so that all children (regardless of level or prior experience) will benefit from seeing new vocabularies and concepts.

Our goal is that each class experience will build the child’s confidence in communicating and will help to develop their awareness of foreign cultures. Inner Athlete-Varsity Class (Friday-AM Only) $350
The Varsity Class is a 45-minute sports focused class designed specifically for Nursery & Preschool aged children. A new sport(s) will be introduced every other week in hopes of establishing an early appreciation and understanding of many different types of sports. Sports include but are not limited to hockey, basketball, tennis, soccer, t-ball, bowling, baseball, track and field, football and more!  These sports and activities are designed to help your child learn the basic fundamentals such as throwing, catching, kicking, body awareness, and fair play while developing gross and fine motor skills both individually and in team scenarios. All of our drills are never done in a monotonous fashion. Instead, we teach the skills in a highly active but controlled environment that promotes healthy competition and teamwork.  

Kindergarten & Grade 1


Lego Engineering & Construction (Monday) $277
Do you want to put your engineering skills to the test? - Then join this class and we will build bridges, buildings, vehicles and more.  Students build a new project each week using LEGO bricks and elements to explore engineering, architecture and technology.  This class provides a fun, hands-on learning and building experience focused on STEM concepts.  The goal of Bricks 4 Kidz is to provide a learning experience for children that encourages critical thinking, creativity, organizational skills, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Bold Pop Hip Hop -K&1 (Monday) $277

Taught by Ms. E. This high-energy class blends the energy, freestyling, storytelling and power of hip hop and breaking, with jazz technique, while embracing the creativity of the dancers. Students will develop musicality, choreographic skills, strength, teamwork and confidence both onstage and off. A trademark of all BOLD Arts programs is that each person's individual strengths and personality shine through the work we create together. All students will have the opportunity to perform at least once per semester.

Airplane Engineer (Tuesday) $350
Do you question how a machine as heavy as an airplane can fly? Do you want to learn how air pressure works perfectly to create airplane lift? Does testing the limits of your model airplane intrigue you? If you answered yes, then you are qualified to be an Airplane Engineer! You’ll use this newly-learned knowledge to build your own airplane and then fly it in the ultimate test flight. If having fun while learning STEM concepts is what you love, then this course is for you!

Creative Movement (Tuesday) $375
Power Brain Yoga can help children develop important skills such as spontaneity, in a fun, non-competitive environment. Power Brain Yoga teaches children to listen and express themselves creatively by helping identify their relationship with the natural world in stories by using song, games and poses. Ultimately children learn in a multisensory environment.

Anime, Cartooning & Comic Creation! (Wednesday) $350
Cartooning is a great way to learn how to sketch and draw. You will learn to create your own characters as well as popular characters from Disney, Anime, and more! Learn about storylines, design, coloring, and lettering, as you create your very own comic book!

Pro Class at TIA (Wednesday) $395
The Pro class is team-sport focused highly active enrichment class designed especially for children in Kindergarten and First Grade.  Athletes receive individual attention in a small group setting to either introduce or further advance their skills in hockey, basketball, baseball, football, and soccer while emphasizing the importance of teamwork both on and off the field. Our inclusive program will devote three to four weeks on each sport's fundamentals which always includes a physical conditioning element. Through fun and engaging activities with our highly trained TIA coaches, we strive further to develop physical gross motor and fine motor skills and emphasize age-appropriate strategy, game rules, and healthy competition.

Fun With Food 2.0: (Thursday) $415

Magic is Primary-Purple Wand Course (Thursday) $350
The  Purple Wand Magic Course will introduce your child to some fun and original magic tricks and games (not found anywhere else!) that will boost their confidence and communication skills! Get ready to take an adventure into the world of magic. Learn how to read people’s minds, make money appear out of nowhere and travel through time with a magic bandana just to name a few. In this course students will not only learn the 8 basic effects that make up all magic tricks, but more importantly they will discover the real secrets to becoming a true magician as each lesson reveals an important skill for life. Each lesson comes with a custom magic prop, a magic top secret file folder, and a secret word to unlock bonus videos in the online video vault.   Students will be having so much fun that they won't even realize that they are building self-confidence and developing critical communication skills that will impact their future.

Learn Spanish w/Ms. Eli! (Thursday) $277
In this Spanish class, students will work in groups to develop the skills they need to learn a new language.  The goal is for them to find joy in learning Spanish in an immersion setting.  Students will begin by internalizing the sounds, pronunciation, and intonation of the Spanish language via songs, poems, stories and informal conversation.  

Learn Sign Language by Parker-Anderson (Friday) $350
This class is taught by a hearing person with specialized coursework and experienced teaching ASL. In this class we use music, games, interaction, and have fun while learning the language that Deaf people in this country use: American Sign Language (ASL). This course is adapted for our youngest learners.

Paint on Canvas and Clay w/Abrakadoodle (Friday) $277
Create artworks inspired by famous artists who explore color, celebrate uniqueness, innovate with paint, and highlight different cultures. You will paint yummy sweet treats, tropical scenes on canvas, sculpt clay animals and more!  NEW projects each week!

TechieKids (Friday) $510
Our young students can do amazing things with computers! In this class, they will learn and practice a variety of computer skills to prepare them to move on to beginner level coding, robotics, and technology courses. In a supportive environment, students will be introduced to key computer fundamentals including spatial concepts, command functions, and mouse movement. Kids will have a great time using their keyboarding skills to create a variety of fun projects using storytelling, drawing, and imagination!  

Super Duper Tennis (Friday) $395
"Super Duper Tennis is Hoboken and Jersey City's most popular kids tennis program, and it’s coming back to All Saints this Fall! Children will learn the FUNdamentals of tennis using USTA-approved '10 and Under' tennis techniques, using sized down and safe equipment, portable nets and soft foam and rubber tennis balls.  The curriculum is progression-based increasing in difficulty throughout the season. Through game-based teaching, students will be able to serve & track the ball, as well as use backhand & volley strokes. By the end of the season, ideally, we will have the kids starting the skill of rallying.

 

Grades 2-4

Please Note: When registering for Enrichment courses, Play rehearsals are scheduled for Mondays after school and Service Club is offered on Wednesdays after school.

Bold Pop Hip Hop 2 (Monday) $277

Taught by Ms. E. This high-energy class blends the energy, freestyling, storytelling and power of hip hop and breaking, with jazz technique, while embracing the creativity of the dancers. Students will develop musicality, choreographic skills, strength, teamwork and confidence both onstage and off. A trademark of all BOLD Arts programs is that each person's individual strengths and personality shine through the work we create together. All students will have the opportunity to perform at least once per semester. 

Math Circles (Monday) $277
(3:00-4:30pm-Only Grades 3&4)
Organized jointly with Stevens Institute of Technology, Math Circles expose students to interesting, challenging, and fun math problems and activities composed by faculty in the Department of Mathematical Sciences. Math Circles are guided by mathematicians and students from Stevens. A Math Circle is a social structure where participants engage in the depths and intricacies of mathematical thinking, propagate the culture of doing mathematics, and create knowledge. To reach these goals, participants partake in problem-solving, mathematical modeling, the practice of art, and philosophical discourse. Some Circles involve competition, others do not; all promote camaraderie.

We are impressed by the way people recycle items that would ordinarily be discarded by turning them into toys, sculptures, and household objects. Students will use recycled materials to engineer & build wheel designs, a race track, and their own toy cars, then compete in a Recycled Racer Rally.

Guitar for Beginners (Tuesday) $395
Small Group Guitar lessons introduce young people to the language of music
in a wonderful way. Students learn basic chords, musical notation, guitar fingering, and songs of course! (includes student's guitar, accessories and handbook to take home).

Ms. Therres' Junior Art Studio (Wednesday) $277

Expand your child's knowledge of not only art history but also art making techniques! This course will build on students’ current knowledge of art and delve into specific media and skills, including portraiture, still life and more. The course will be comprised of large group demonstrations along with one-on-one tips and tricks. Each child will go home with several finished pieces of art as well as newfound knowledge and confidence in their artistic abilities.

Fashion Fleece (Wednesday) $305

Sign up for Hobby Quest’s Fashionable Fleece class, and create some one of a kind chic pieces perfect for your cold weather wardrobe! This session we are focusing on staying warm, and designing adorable skirts and vests made out of snuggly fleece to beat the chill. We’ll teach you how to take this favorite fabric and turn it into amazing, trendy pieces that you’ll want to wear all winter long! From designing and sketching to seeing your vision come to life, we’ll walk you through the process of sewing and decorating your pieces. You’ll even get to create some accessories, like bracelets or necklaces, to give your outfit that little extra edge! At the end of the session, your friends and family will be amazed when they see you model your designs at your own runway show! Join us this season and discover the designer in you!  Design it! Create it! Show it! Keep it! 

Amazing Athletes! (Wednesday) $350
Amazing Athletes is the premier year-round development sports and physical fitness program designed to empower students through positive movement experiences that focus on building confidence and achieving motor-development milestones. The program covers basic fundamentals of 10 sports taught in a non-competitive, learning-based environment and also introduces students to muscles, nutrition, and a "healthy lifestyle".

Learn Spanish! (Wednesday) $277 (by Ms. Eli)
In this class, students will develop the skills necessary to learn a new language by working together in both small groups and whole class activities.  The goal is for them to pose thought-provoking questions which inspire the students to think for themselves and become independent learners.  Students will begin incorporating technology into their learning process i.e., recording themselves in short conversations, practicing their previous knowledge, and creating stories in WeVideo with teacher’s assistance.

Choir (Thursday) - Free
(Please note that registration for this class will be held separately, and not on-line. Further information will be provided in January).
If you have a passion for singing, then choir is the place for you! Building off of the skills learned in music classes, this mixed-grade choir will offer you more opportunities to explore performing in a group. The choir will perform at select school functions, giving your child experience performing.

Chess (Thursday) $395

This program is designed for Grade 2 – Grade 4 chess players. It provides the foundation to what every beginning and intermediate chess player needs to know in order to play superior chess. Nexplore Chess Program is dedicated to improving academic performance as well as 21st century life skills. Program tracks include the following, increased self-control, boost self-esteem, developing and sharpening cognitive skills, enhance the ability to conceptualize and encouraging non-physical competition.

Coditum Coding (Friday) $510
(3:20-4:20pm-Only Grade 4)
Students will receive instruction in Coditum's renowned Python curriculum. The Python
curriculum is broken into several Modules. Completing these Modules gives students a solid foundation
of coding skills. Progression through Modules is based on their skills and understanding. Later, more advanced Modules introduce advanced coding and computer science concepts that are fundamental for a career in software. Coditum's courses do not have an "end." They are never one-size-fits-all for every student. Courses are designed to let students follow their interests and passions, with our teachers
guiding them the entire way. Our Director of Academics updates Modules based on student and industry trends. Teachers are trained in all topics so that they can help advanced students achieve their personal long-term projects. Additional courses can be made available to the program including Java and Web Development.
 
Baking Masterclass (Friday) $395
(3:00pm-4:30pm-Only Grade 4)
Swan Profiteroles, Battenberg Cake, Yule Log, Chocolate Souffle and Chocolate Molten Cakes.  Those are just a few of the delightful goodies students will be making in our first ever Baking Masterclass by Workshops Essayer.  Students will be guided through the process of making these technically challenging recipes. And just as important for these recipes is how the finished dish looks.  So, a lot of attention will be paid to finishing touches like the decorating of the dishes and presentation. Join us this spring term as we create awe inspiring baked goods!
 
Let's Play Rugby! (Friday) $375
(3:20 -4:20pm)
This exciting traditional sport, suitable for boys and girls, will involve lots of fun tagging, evasion and team-invasion games. Students will learn the basic fundamentals of teamwork and sportsmanship through rugby-specific games. The age-appropriate curriculum ensures that everyone is thoroughly involved while developing core balance and hand-eye coordination. Absolutely no rugby experience is required; you will learn everything from a trained rugby coach. (Tournaments will be held in Chelsea Waterside Park, 557 W. 23rd Street -Dates-TBD).

Get ready to discover the designer in you with Hobby Quest’s Fashion Trends! Learn everything there is to know about sketching, designing and sewing one of a kind wearable pieces to show off to your friends! This session you’ll learn how to create a full outfit including a top and skirt or shorts of your own design! You will know what it means to be one of the top trendsetters in school, when you show off your fashionable creativity and individual style. You’ll even be able to create an accessory to go with your outfit, like a hair band or belt – all made just by you! Since one of the most important parts of being a fashionista is showing off your designs, we’ll even have a runway show at the end of the session, where you can model your chic creations for your family and friends.  Get ready design world – here you come! Design it! Create it! Model it! Keep it!

Teachers are trained in all topics so that they can help advanced students achieve their personal long-term projects. Additional courses can be made available to the program including Java and Web Development.
 
Let's Play Rugby! (Friday) $375
(Only Grade 5)
This exciting traditional sport, suitable for boys and girls, will involve lots of fun tagging, evasion and team-invasion games.  Students will learn the basic fundamentals of teamwork and sportsmanship through rugby-specific games. The age-appropriate curriculum ensures that everyone is thoroughly involved while developing core balance and hand-eye coordination.  Absolutely no rugby experience is required; you will learn everything from a trained rugby coach.  (Tournaments will be held in Chelsea Waterside Park, 557 W. 23rd Street-Dates TBD).

Attention First Time User
New parents are strongly encouraged to create their account before Friday, August 31st.  Enrichment offerings fill up very quickly and we want to ensure that families receive the best consumer service possible prior to the beginning of registration.

Registration Dates and Time:

  • Wednesday, September 5th - 7:00PM Grades Nursery-Grade 1
  • Wednesday, September 5th - 8:00PM Grades 2-8                                                                                                                 
Online registration begins promptly at times specified above and is on a time sensitive first come, first serve basis. Please plan accordingly as each class has a maximum enrollment size and some classes may fill quickly. Once a class is full, you will no longer be able to enroll in that class, but will be given the opportunity to sign up for the waitlist.  You can also select an alternative class. Classes are filled based upon checkout time, not when you initially select them, so please complete the selection and checkout process within a short duration.  Please feel free to call us at 201-792-0736 for assistance between 6:30pm - 8:30pm.

Refund Policy

We offer a full refund for any courses which are dropped prior to the close of registration or canceled due to insufficient enrollment. Once the registration period is over, there will be no refunds.

Public Registration

Our Enrichment Program is open to the broader community but priority is given to student at All Saints. If you are a parent with a child in another school, please contact Iris Nunez with your desired class choices and your requests will be fulfilled on a first come first serve basis.
